MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has not been what can be termed as lucky in love. After a failed relationship with Gurpreet at the beginning of his career in Bollywood and an unceremonious end to his fling with Aishwarya Rai, media reports claimed that the parents of Vivek Oberoi were in search of a bride for their son and at present it seems that the search has finally come to an end. It is now official that the 34 year old actor will be tying the knot with Priyanka Alva, who has just stepped on Indian soil from London.

According to media sources, Priyanka Alva is the daughter of danseuse Nandini Alva and late politician Jeevaraj Alva. The 28 year old girl was pursuing her studies in London and is now back to her home in Bangalore to be a part of her own engagement ceremony to be held in the first week of September. Hence Vivek Oberoi will soon get rid of his single status, with the both families rounding up on the month of October as the wedding month.

It is being reported that the match to get Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva together was made by Bharatanatyam dancer and choreographer Padmini Ravi who is a close friend of Priyanka Alva’s mother. Padmini Ravi though has refused to comment on this and neither could Vivek Oberoi’s statements be recorded. The actor has been linked to several heroines within the Bollywood fraternity, but was heard sharing in a recent interview that he would not mind marrying a girl of his parents’ choice. Perhaps something was already brewing between him and Priyanka Alva.
