Mary Steenburgen Attends Chelsea Clinton’s Wedding

RHINEBECK (GaeaTimes.com)- Mary Steenburgen, the American actress appeared in Rhinebeck, New York yesterday to be a part of Chelsea Clinton’s grand wedding. Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton married her long time love, investment banker Marc Mezvinsky in a quaint town of Rhinebeck, New York. The grand ceremony was held in the northern section of New York along the Hudson River where a number of high profiled celebrities graced the occasion and showered their blessings on the couple.
Mary Steenburgen was spotted with her husband Ted Danson and the couple looked happy to grace the occasion. “Melvin and Howard” actress said in one of her interviews that she has known the 30 year old former first daughter since she was a baby and so it was “big moment” for her. Mary Steenburgen is former President Bill Clinton’s friend since his days as Arkansas Governor. Mary Steenburgen’s husband Ted Danson also said that he was “excited” to attend the wedding.
Mary Steenburgen and Ted Danson were seen checking into a hotel in Rhinebeck around 1 p.m. yesterday. Other than them there were many renowned figures who were spotted in Rhinebeck like the wedding dress designer Vera Wang, former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe and former Bill Clinton advisor Vernon Jordan and also movie producer Steve Bing and many other guests who were all invited to bless the newly weds. The media reported that there were around 450 guests invited to attend the “wedding of the century”. The former President’s family kept the marriage under wraps and media was not allowed to enter the reception place.
