Vivek Obeori Snubs Swayamvar

July 23, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): If you think that it was just Colors that struggled to get cricketing superstars on ‘Fear Factor’, think again. Imagine TV too is struggling to come up with a suitable groom/bride for its third season of the swayamvar series.

The channel hoped to get a big star on board this time, but their efforts to have Vivek Oberoi has turned futile.

A reliable source says, “Imagine was keen on having Vivek, but after giving it a thought, Oberoi has rejected the offer. Thus Imagine TV and SOL are looking for new options now. There is till time as ‘Swayamvar’ will now take place in December”.

The likes of Bobby Darling, Sherlyn Chopra, Kamal Rashid Khan have put in their hat for ‘Swayamvar’, but Imagine isn’t keen on these names. Prior to Oberoi, the channel was keen on having a cricketer. Monica Bedi too is said to have snubbed the show.
