‘Khatta Meetha’ Guarantees Pure Laughter

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- When Bollywood filmmakers are trying hard to deliver one single hit, comedy king Priyadarshan carries his winning streak with his latest offering. ‘Khatta Meetha’ which stars Akshay Kumar and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles is one laugh riot which has been the specialty of the director. ‘Khatta Meetha’ happens to be a remake of the 1989 Malayalam flick “Vellanakalude Nadu” which was also directed by Priyadarshan.

Khatta Meetha then moves ahead to depict the story of the road contractor who encounters several funny incidents in pursuit of his dream.

Akshay Kumar is the show stealer and his chemistry with Trisha Krishnan in the movie is charming. ‘Khatta Meetha’ is an important movie for the southern actress who wants to make her mark in Bollywood. Although she had several hits down south, she has great expectations from ‘Khatta Meetha‘. Besides Trisha Krishnan and Akshay Kumar, the film also casts Milind Gunaji, Makrand Deshpande and Rajapl Yadav in important roles.
