Thrisha Krishnan

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- South glam girl Thrisha Krishnan is keeping her fingers crossed for her upcoming movie “Khatta Meetha” with Akshay Kumar. Reportedly, the movie happens to be the Bollywood debut of Thrisha Krishnan under the able direction of Priyadarshan who has never failed to impress the audience with his slew of comedy movies.

Thrisha Krishnan follows the steps of Asin Thottumkal and Genelia who have already made their mark in Bollywood. Thrisha Krishnan told the media that her Bollywood debut in “Khatta Meetha” is one of the greatest challenges in her acting career. She also said that she gets “bored” very quickly and underlined the fact that she have acted more than 40 films in Tamil and Telugu but the “monotony” has taken over her now. Thrisha Krishnan essays the role of a collector in “Khatta Meetha” against Akshay Kumar who plays the role of a road contractor named “Sachin Tichkule”. Thrisha Krishnan hopes to make it real big with her Bollywood debut. She said that Bollywood has always welcomed Southern heroines with open arms right from Sridevi to Asin and Genelia and if all goes well she is soon to follow the others.

Thrisha Krishnan was all in praises for Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar and said that “Khatta Meetha” will be a different experience for the audience. Thrisha Krishnan is currently busy for an unnamed project with Kamal Hassan and Madhavan where she plays the female lead. Its only a matter of time when we get to witness the fate of Thrisha Krishnan in Bollywood as the movie hits the theaters on July 23.
