LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The Cartoon Network has moved out of its animation world for a change and on Sunday it premiered its first live-action series named “Unnatural History“. The series has been created by Mike Werb who had co-written John Woo’s “Face/Off” and also penned the script of Jim Carrey’s “The Mask”. In “Unnatural History” Mike Werb deals with the adventures of a curious adolescent boy in familiar and unfamiliar situations. Though the first episode of the series only introduced the characters and showed the circumstances they are in, it promised of many more adventures that would unfold in the coming episodes when the characters meet and get into action. The very first episode showed the protagonist solving a murder mystery.

The “Unnatural History” stars Kevin G. Schmidt as a curious adolescent named Henry Griffin who takes interest in almost everything that crosses his way. The first episode of “Unnatural History” shows Henry Griffin coming live in the place of his uncle Bryan played by Martin Donovan and cousin Jasper played by Jordan Gavaris. Uncle Bryan is the principal of the D.C. high school that Henry Griffin is to attend. Jasper is shown to be least excited about the arrival of his cousin but it seems that Mike Werb plans to use his character well.

Apart from these the other character who joins the cast is Italia Ricci who plays the role of Maggie Winnock. Added to the whole scenario is the presence of a prestigious museum in the vicinity of the school building. It seems that with “Unnatural History“, the channel which is known for its appeal to children is aiming to capture the attention of other age groups as well.
