John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s family growing

May 19, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Actor John Travolta and Kelly Preston are expecting a new addition in their family. In a statement posted on their official site, the couple wrote that it’s impossible to keep a wonderful secret as this. They added that they want to be first to share this great news with everyone that they are expecting a new addition to their family.
Travolta married model and actress Preston in 1991 and they have a 10 year old daughter, Ella. The news of Preston’s pregnancy is perhaps the best news that couple shared after the tragic death of their 16 year old son, Jeff, last year. Jeff died while the family was on holiday in The Bahamas after suffering a seizure.
Just last week, the family’s two dogs were killed in an accident at Maine’s Bangor International Airport.
Travolta gained recognition after appearing on the television series Welcome Back, Kotter and starring in the box office successes Saturday Night Fever and Grease. After strings of flops his career resurged with role of Vincent Vega in Quentin Tarantino’s 1994 hit Pulp Fiction. He received his second Academy Award nomination for this film, the first being for Saturday Night Fever.
He later starred in successful films like Face/Off, Ladder 49 and Wild Hogs. His performance in Get Shorty earned him the olden Globe Award for Best Actor.
