“Young Hollywood Awards 2010″ Honors The Emerging Kids In Hollywood

LOS ANGELES, (GaeaTimes.com)- The Young Hollywood Awards 2010 was held at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in the Lucerne Boulevard of Los Angeles on the 13th of May. Like any other event the 12th version of these awards too was a star event with every Hollywood biggie turning up for the occasion. The event, primarily organized to honor the young stars of the entertainment world in America, this year gave away the award of the ‘Artist of the Year’ to Nick Jonas.

Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, the two other brothers of the Jonas Brothers trio were also present at the Young Hollywood Awards 2010 to cheer their Nick Jonas on his win. All the three were photographed walking the red carpet in their formal dresses. While Nikki Reed took home the award for ‘Superstar in the Making’, Ashley Greene was declared the ‘Style Icon’ of the year. Leading from the front in the female brigade was Nina Dobrev of “The Vampire Diaries” fame who walked home with the ‘Young Hollywood Making Their Mark’ award in the female category. Jessica Stroup stole the award in the ‘Sparkling Performance’ category.

Miley Cyrus was also present at the Young Hollywood Awards 2010 with boyfriend Liam Hemsworth who was the winner in the ‘Breakthrough of the Year’ category. However the couple could not be seen in the red carpet entry and thus disappointed fans. This year the Young Hollywood Awards 2010 was hosted by Mario Lopez and tried its best to honor all the emerging artists of Hollywood. The event also awarded Justin Bieber who however was not present to receive his award.
