Bollywoods Tattoo King

May 5, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Thirteen long years in the profession, Sameer Patange, Bollywood’s favourite tattoo artist is shifting his base to Banglore. He started Kraayonz Tattoo Studio, in Bandra, after working almost 2 years with hairdresser Hakim Alim in 2007.

Kraayonz is a brand name now. When Sameer entered this profession he had this clear motive of customer’s satisfaction rather filling up his pockets. He is an expert in the field and also been training lot of people. He trains and teaches them in exactly same manner he was. Today, Sameer has numerous clients from different section of society and his margin of success has been constantly upwards.

Sameer got his business scattered in Mumbai, Pune and Goa and now Banglore. He wants create tattoo making as different concept, more than just a part of fashion. He thins it’s a wonderful art. He wants the world to understand this art they way he does and counsel them before designing one for any. This helps the clients to decide right kind of tattoo for them. Sameer for now is clueless about how will it work out in Bangalore and just hope his equally well received as in other cities. They don’t charge the tattoos as per inch square but it depends on the designs and for bigger ones, they charge hourly.

Patange has been fascinated to the art since childhood and later it obviously turned into his passion and extended into his profession. He has tattoo a number of Bollywood stars like Sushmita Sen, Urmila, Raveena Tandon, Hrithik Roshan (in fact, the whole of Roshan’s family), Sanjay Dutt and so forth and many other from fashion fraternity. Sameer has always remained their favourite!
