Raavan: Music Launched Yesterday

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)-The music launch of Mani Ratnam’s much awaited and upcoming film ‘Raavan‘ took place yesterday amidst much fanfare and celebration. The lead couple of the film, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan flew to Mumbai to be present at the venue. Tamil star Vikram was also there. Ever since the first official teaser of the film was released on the web the fans of the director became ecstatic. The films of the director have excellent soundtrack as has been the case with all of his films and expectation was high from this film’s musical score as well. The music has been composed by Oscar winner Music maestro A R Rahman who was present at the music launch of Raavan yesterday.

Stalwart actor Amitabh Bachchan and his actor wife Jaya Bachchan were also present at the music launch of ‘Raavan‘. The lyrics of the songs in Raavan have been composed by veteran lyricist Gulzar. The movie will present Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan together after a gap of two years. A R Rahman has sung a song in this film. The track named Kaata Kaata is making its way up the charts these days.

Apart from the music of ‘Raavan,’ the plot of the movie is also very interesting. The actor Abhishek Bachchan looks impressive with his frightening makeup in the teaser. He reportedly is playing a naxalite character. The film will be released in Tamil and Hindi. This film was in the making for a long time and the director did not divulge much about its theme earlier.
