Mumbai- Before stepping into the threshold of Bollywood, Narmmadaa Ahuja, daughter of Bollywood star Govinda, made a clear statement about her preference over co-actor. She claimed that she doesn’t have a particular choice. She only wants to make her debut with an actor who has done at least one film instead of a newcomer.
I won’t like to debut with someone very new. I’ll prefer my co-star to have done at least one film…He could be a fresh face, but not really a debutant or newcomer
the 21-year-old stated firmly.
The youngster made her first public appearance with Bollywood star and her dad’s friend Salman Khan at the IIFA awards in 2007. Rumors of her debut have been spreading since then, though the budding actress ignored it saying that she had no project in 2007. She was only 18 then pursuing an acting course from the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute.
After that, she went to the London Film Institute for further grooming and also did a make-up course. The entire process took over a year and now she has set to enter the film industry.
Now that she is preparing for her debut, Narmmadaa says being a star kid has its own disadvantages. They have to bear extra pressure since people expect a lot from them, having an acting background.
Narmmadaa being fluent in English and Hindi, is also taking special pronunciation classes to avoid any pitfalls.
Though Narmmadaa have no preference for any actor, she informed that her father sees a lot of new movies and praises a couple of newcomers. Govinda always encourages her daughter to work hard to improve expressions and her dancing skill.
So lets wait and watch with whom Narmmadaa makes her debut film. Who do you think will be best-suited to her?
