Police: Reality star left suicide note on laptop

BUENA PARK, Calif. — Police say a reality show contestant charged in the gruesome slaying of his ex-model wife left a suicide note on his laptop that expressed love and jealousy for the victim.

Buena Park police Sgt. Bill Kohanek said Monday the 1½-page note was found on Ryan Jenkins’ laptop after the former VH1 reality show contestant hung himself in a Canadian motel room.

Kohanek says Jenkins, 32, wrote that Jasmine Fiore was the love of his life but that he was resentful because he believed she was cheating on him. He also apologized to his family for causing trouble but doesn’t mention Fiore’s death.

Fiore’s body was found in a suitcase in mid-August, missing her teeth and the last digits of her fingers, presumably to hamper efforts to identify her.
