Simon Cowell: Adam Lambert will win ‘Idol’

CHICAGO — “American Idol” judge Simon Cowell says he thinks Adam Lambert will win this season of the popular singing competition show.

Cowell told Oprah Winfrey on Monday’s episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show” that his money is on Lambert because the contestant is fearless, unique and “he’s got swagger.”

Winfrey also featured Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle, who is competing on “Britain’s Got Talent.” Boyle told Winfrey she’s “loving every second” of her newfound fame.

The 47-year-old Boyle became famous after she shocked judges and the audience with her version of “I Dreamed a Dream” from the musical “Les Miserables.”

One of those judges was Cowell, who wished Boyle congratulations and wished her “best of luck” on the rest of the competition.

Love Simon for saying what he said on Oprah. People even if he says this, we should still vote vote vote for Adam. We can’t leave matters to chance. See what happened 2 weeks ago. Would you wan a repeat of that? I surely wouldn’t want to. I CRIED when that happened and promised myself never again. Adam is the best talent in AI and he deserves our love and support. Please, please no split voting this time. Convince friend and family members to vote for him. This guy is the real deal. There are people undermining his ability as an artist, please don’t let them win. We should just vote for Adam and prove them wrong!! I just love my weekly dose of AI. Again - VOTE VOTE VOTE!!! Good luck Adam!!
