Enrica Fernandes who plays Riddhi Dogra’s younger sister in Real ‘s Hindi Hai Hum is quite happy with her character. She says, "Sweety is a very happy go lucky college kid who is totally into her own self. Coming to Mumbai is a dream come true for her.  She has always heard about big city girl’s wearing mini skirt’s and jeans, but has never seen seem them."

Swastik productions, Hindi Hai Hum is Enrica’s 3rd  TV show. Before this, she has also acted in the recently ended, Lo Ho Gayi Pooja Iss Ghar Ki. “I am also doing Jaane Kya Baat Hui on Colors, where I play Sanjit Bedi’s college going niece. My character Simran loves music, but her mother is adamant that she purses her studies. Here Simran’s aunt Shweta Tiwari (Aastha) comes to the  rescue and encourages Simran  to follow her dreams” shares the actress. Enrica however refuses to speculate on the eventual romance between Shweta and Abhinav Shukla, “Ratan is just a good friend of family who everybody likes’.”

This class 12 student from Sofia’s college really does not know what went wrong with the former SAB show, “It was really fun, we had blast on the set, but may be attitude of certain stars towards the show and timing may have had an impact. All said and done, I thoroughly enjoyed essaying my simple character Pritti. Her antics did not please the family member’s but had the audience in splits.”

She also admitted that being a Catholic, speaking Hindi was a problem. “I had difficulty in mouthing certain dialogues during Pooja. My creative’s really helped me. They told me clearly you cannot use English, but now everything thing is ok,” says she.

In closing we could not help but asking Enrica whether some time down the road, her character will also become of a city babe, wearing short skirts? “No I am not comfortable exposing on screen, I will be happy wearing jeans and tops.

Ps It is heard that she is also doing one more Swastik Production show.   - SAMPURN
