A. I grew up in Bandra.

Q. Were you a good student?

A. I was notorious.

Q. What was the worst popular trend you were going through in college?

A. I guess bell bottoms were the worst popular trend that time.

Q. What was the craziest thing you ever did for a girl to let you know?

A.  I tried to be very cool and put my hands in the pocket and walk and all. I tried to get that dude kind of image. I used to skid my bike, do wheelies and all to get noticed.

Q. What was you fashion mantra when you were 18 and now?

A.  I didn’t follow any fashion mantra. I just tried to be myself. Now also I don’t follow any fashion mantra or trend. This is how I am.

Q. What were your hobbies back then and now?

A. My hobbies were computer graphics, surfing the net. Now I watch movies and play video games.

Q. What rumors did people spread about you back then and now?

A. That time I really don’t know and frankly I really didn’t care too. Same is the case in this era. I really don’t care what people say about me. 

Q. What nicknames you had back then and now?

A. ‘Chilly’ was my nickname back then and even now it’s the same.

Q. Who were your good friends back then? Are they still friends with you now?

A. Vishal Gandhi was my only friend that time and I am in touch with him now also.

Q. What did you do for fun that time?

A. Roaming on the bikes, long drives on the highway and all.

Q. What was you favorite hang out place?

A. Mithibai canteen

Q. Was Valentine’s Day important for you? What was your idea of dating back then and now?

A. It turned out to be pretty expensive. Now also its expensive for me as well as special because my wife shares her birthday on the same date. So It is like double gifts from my end.

Q. What advice did your parents give you when you were 18 and now?

A. They told me not to do drugs. Now they don’t advice me much as they know I am matured now. 

Q. Anything which worried you back then and now?

A. That time my exams worried me to the core. Now my kid worries me.

Q. Did you have any sweetheart in College?

A. Yes I had one but I won’t name her (laughs)

Q. With which celebrity you wanted to go on an isolated island? What was your naughtiest fantasy with her?

A. Cindy Crawford. I would not like to share my fantasy because I don’t want to be the headlines of the newspaper and then my wife running behind me with a knife (laugh)

Q.  Does being 18 hold any significance to you?

A.  Yes it does. 18 was very special to me. I really had a blast at that age. I wish I could get those fun loving days back.
