Matt Costa To Release Mobile Chateau

September 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Singer - songwriter Matt Costa will soon be releasing his new album called ‘Mobile Chateau’. He would be releasing it via Island / Brushfire Records on 4th October.

To mark the occasion of his 3rd album release, Matt has made the opening track ‘The Season’ available as a free MP3 download.

His third album, ‘Mobile Chateau’ sees a change from his last recordings. The album sees Matt exploring as well as mixing reverb and vintage pop arrangements from the 60s. His new album would surely be appreciated by the fans of bands like Beach Boys and The Byrds.

To assist him with the latest experiment, Matt has recruited a wholly new band to back him up. This band is called The Mothers Sons comprise of Rob Rowe (guitar / bass), Danny Garcia (guitar / bass) Kenny Bender (guitar / bass) while Jona Wilder plays the drums.

Matt Costa has been working not just as a musician with his new ensemble of musicians, but also as a producer and an engineer.

Costa has intentionally added a lot of strange effects and has thus established all the eerie qualities in the songs. Some of his songs are inspired by songs from The Byrds and Beach Boys; he hopes that his influences shine on the surface with a proper texture.
