‘Bama Belles’: The Cast

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The new and much talked about reality show ‘Bama Belles‘ aired on TLC on December 5 and it looks like the ‘Housewives’ have competition. The show follows the life of 5 gorgeous women between ages that range from mid 20s to late 30s. The women from Alabama are seen dealing with everything from family issues to work problems. Though the concept of the life based reality show seems to get slightly cliche in the TV industry today, the ‘Bama Belles‘ stands out for the personalities and their typical Southern ways.

The first episode that aired on TLC on December 5 was called ‘Southern and Way Proud Of It’. Amie Pollard, the 39 year old mother and radio personality is seen as one of the most interesting and reality TV-friendly personalities in the lot. She is also a real estate developer and a ‘Bama Belle‘ to the core who is seen best friends with everyone but dangerous when crossed. Melissa McLaney, one of the other stars of the show is a former beauty queen and adds the glamor factor to the show. She is always seen striving to be perfect and gave up her well paid job for a business with her husband. Jana Roberts, a 28 year old beings in drama from her life as she goes through the hard emotional phase of undergoing IVF.

The two other women who complete the ‘Bama Belles‘ cast are Val Tignini and Dakota Redding. Val Tignini is not originally from Alabama and thus stands out among the women for her different background and accent. Dakota Redding on the other hand, is a tobacco chewing cowboy who is seen about to enlist for the army soon.
