LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The editor- in-chief of a reputed American magazine has recently apologized to the readers for putting LeAnn Rimes‘ picture on the cover of the magazine. However, the Grammy award-winning singer has said in the homepage of her social networking site that she get to the bottom of her new photo and interview in the magazine controversy. Valerie Latona, the editor of the reputed magazine has recently said that the cover was not meant to put a husband stealer on the “pedestal” of the magazine but to show that we all are human beings.

LeAnn Rimes on the other hand replied to the statement in the homepage of her social networking site where she stated that the magazine officials are throwing a party next week as a “thank you” and “congrats” for being there on their magazine cover for the third time. The self proclaimed “America’s sweetheart” said that she finds the statement of the editor-in-chief “contradictory” as she cannot understand why Valerie Latona called the cover of the magazine as terrible mistake.

In the magazine LeAnn Rimes said in her exclusive interview why she broke up with her former husband and as a result she was subjected to severe criticism from the people of America. However, after the magazine was published some people criticize the photo as well her photo by calling her a “husband-stealer”. Valerie Latona later said that the media took her statement in a wrong context as she wrote those lines used by some ‘unhappy’ readers. She also added that she stands by the fact that LeAnn Rimes’ story is compelling and because of that she put her on the cover of the magazine for the third time.
