LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Blue Bloods premiered yesterday with the first episode of the first season. This cop drama revolves around a family which has multiple generations of cop officers. The show starts with the kidnapping of a girl and the only main clue being that a doll which happens to be a prototype with only three people having it in the city. The role of frank Regan is played by Tom Selleck who is the oldest in the family and happens to be the Chief of New York police. His children are Danny, the eldest among the siblings and who is a cop. The youngest one is Jammie who is starting his career as a cop and there sister Erin who is an assistant district attorney.

Danny is involved in the case of the kidnapped girl and goes on to meet the three suspects. Danny is portrayed as a cop in “Blue bloods” who believes in solving a case irrespective of the method involved. He nails the culprit by shoving his head in the toilet and threatening to drown him. The man pleads guilty and gives up the girl. The most interesting moments in the episode was perhaps their Sunday dinner. Danny and Erin get into a fight as to what should be the right way of carrying out investigations.

The actors seem okay in the first episode of Blue bloods. Tom Selleck has proved his merit as an actor before and the audience were not disappointed by him playing Frank Regan. There is a question mark though on whether this cop drama series will continue to appear as appealing as it was yesterday in the episodes to follow. Guess the answer to that is wait and watch.
