MIAMI(GaeaTimes.com)- Charismatic singer Celine Dion was previously in news early September when media outlets reported that the singer was hospitalized owing to her pregnancy complications. However, later the news was booted off as just another rumor. Last Sunday the 42 year old singer was rushed to the hospital to prevent her from early and premature delivery of her twins. Her spokeswoman announced that Celine Dion was hospitalized in St Mary’s Medical Centre in West Palm Beach, Florida to ensure that she gets proper medical treatment in the final month of her pregnancy.

St Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida’s medical officials released a statement yesterday where it was stated that the Canadian pop diva was hospitalized at the “recommendation” of her doctors for observation. The doctors said that it was an effort on their part to prevent her from premature delivery of her babies. The doctors said that it is the “standard” of their care for any patient who are treated for twin pregnancy in the hospital. Celine Dion was not available for any comments. Previously it was rumored that Celine Dion has asked for a C-section delivery in October. However, the doctors rubbished the rumors saying that the “Lets Talk About Love” singer has not asked for any such thing.

The hospital authorities said yesterday that Celine Dion has not asked for any “predetermined” date for her delivery. The authorities have also said that the singer has not asked for any extra facilities or special treatment that are not available to any other patients. The doctors said that Celine Dion was hospitalized so that she remains in close contact with the doctors and “clinical resources”.
