September 29, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The editor for the legendary Quentin Tarantino has been found dead.

Sally Menke had been a very close comrade and a fabulous film editor for Tarantino. Her dead-body was discovered in the early hours of the 28th of September. She apparently went to hike with her pet dog in Beachwood Canyon on Monday and never came back. Temperatures reached as high as 113 degrees Fahrenheit on Monday in Los Angeles.

The dog was found alive and the cause of her death is yet to be discovered; the police have launched an investigation to further delve into the matter. Her death could have been attributed to the tremendous heat, since several LA residents complained about this searing heat on their Twitter accounts.

Sally Menke started her illustrious career in the year 1988 for a TV documentary called The Congress. She got her big break while she worked on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; it earned a total of $135 million from the domestic market. Menke later worked with the acclaimed debut by Tarantino, called Reservoir Dogs in the year 1992. This film cemented both Menke’s and Tarantino’s status as gritty underground creative forces. The team of Menke and Tarantino collaborated on every movie that the latter made, including Inglourious Basterds, the smash hit of 2009.
