Rahul-Priyanka will Star in Brishti Brishti

September 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Director Animesh Roy is well known for his out-of-the-box thinking. This time around Animesh has decided to cast the real life lovebirds Rahul-Priyanka for his upcoming film Brishti-Brishti. Speaking about the new movie Animesh informed us that this is the first time Rahul will play a negative character in a film. The romantic hero is trying to expand his acting repertoire by exploring different type of roles.

Priyanka on the other hand, will play the role of a reclusive blind celebrity and writes songs in her solitude. Rahul’s character poses as a journalist and seeks an interview but his real motive will remain hidden from the audience till the end.

The director feels that the off-screen chemistry between the couple will translate on the silver screen and take the narrative to the next level. Explaining the title, the director said that the rain plays a crucial role in the upcoming flick and it helps deepen the suspense surrounding the movie. in fact the rain acts as a character in the upcoming flick.

Rahul explains that there are two shades two every individual, in his upcoming role the negative traits overshadow the positive ones. The actor has been aching to portray a negative character for a long time and finally his dreams have come true. We are sure the audience will like the new movie by Rahul-Priyanka.
