September 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The onscreen chemistry between Rimjhim Mitra and Ritwick Chakroborty was much appreciated in the movie Cross-Connection. The onscreen couple is all set to make a comeback with Arnab Pal’s yet-to-be-named directorial debut.

The film is most likely to be shot in a small hamlet called Kolakham, which is located 12 km away from Lava in North Bengal. This movie will see Ritwick and Rimjhim pairing up once more on-screen and they will surely make sparks fly.

Pal is also working on another project ‘Ami Je Cheyechi Tomay’, which stars the real-life couple Rahul-Priyanka. The movie is about love blossoming between the daughter of a tea estate owner and the local forest guide. Rahul will play the role of the forest guard and Priyanka will be his leading lady in the film. Shooting for ‘Ami Je Cheyechi Tomay’ will start from January or February next year.

On the other hand, the Rimjhim-Ritwick starrer will be canned from September onwards. The untitled movie will be a psycho thriller about a daredevil journalist and a forest ranger. Pal said that he is sure Rimjhim and Ritwick will do justice to their roles and bring a fresh appeal to the film. The script has been written by Padmanabha Dasgupta and Rimjhim might even don a new look for this film.
