MaLinda Sapp Funeral Held

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Yesterday was the funeral of Marvin Sapp’s wife, MaLinda Sapp. The wife of the gospel singer passed away last week after her prolonged battle with colon cancer. Thousands of people gathered at their church Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan to express their love and condolence for Malinda Sapp. The “Never Would Have Made It” singer took the stage and performed his hit song “Here I Am” with Jonathan Dunn, in loving memory of his wife.
Jonathan Dunn told Marvin Sapp that the last words that she heard from MaLinda Sapp was “Here I am”, a popular song of Marvin Sapp. Other than Jonathan Dunn, many other veteran celebrities like Donnie McClurkin and Karen Clarke Sheard also performed at the funeral. Other than them many religious leaders from around the country, pastors, representatives and Gospel song musicians attended the funeral in loving to express their love for MaLinda Sapp. Reverend Jesse Jackson attended the funeral and expressed his condolence. The civil rights activist said that Malinda Sapp’s death is a test of faith. Jesse Jackson said that the loss of a close family member is life’s pain but the mourners should rejoice in the “destination” to which Malinda Sapp has gone.
MaLinda Sapp’s funeral transmitted online and over a hundred thousand people watched it. Marvin Sapp paid tribute to his wife by narrating some of their past memories and some incidents of his wife’s battle with cancer. MaLinda Sapp and Marvin Sapp established Lighthouse Church in Battle Creek in 2006. Malinda Sapp is survived by three children three children Marvin II, Mikaila, and Madisson. Her children read the poem “Footprints” and remembered their mother.
