Marvin Sapp’s Wife Malinda Sapp Dies

NEW YORK (GaeaTimes.com)- Yesterday was one of the darkest days of Gospel singer Marvin Sapp’s life. Malinda Sapp, the wife of “Never Would Have Made It” singer lost her prolonged battle with cancer and breathed her last. The detail of her death is not available to the media. However, the news of Malinda Sapp’s death is confirmed by Praise Houston radio station.

A reputed media source reported that Malinda Sapp was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer back in 2009. However, it was given clean bill of health by the doctors but the malicious disease returned yet again to haunt her. Marvin Sapp and Malinda Sapp had been married for 15 years and they have three children Marvin II, Mikaila, and Madisson. Recently Malinda Sapp’s health deteriorated a lot and Marvin Sapp had to cancel his travel and recording plans in order to be with his wife during her time of sickness. A reputed media source reported that Marvin Sapp and his church, Lighthouse Full Life Center Church previously launched a 24 hour prayer campaign for the healing of Malinda Sapp. However, it seems that the death of Marvin Sapp’s wife was inevitable.

Malinda Sapp was Administrative Pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church along with Marvin Sapp. She was also a psychologist, professional counselor and also a college professor. Malinda Sapp also served as a manager of Marvin Sapp and was executive producer of many of his audio and video recordings. The death of Malinda Sapp was confirmed on the “Lonnie Williams Show” where the host announced the death news with “deepest sympathy”. No official press release has been issued regarding the details of Malinda Sapp’s death, however, it is heard that her funeral works are still pending.
