LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — True Blood Finale by their very essence should leave the audience enthralled and begging for more. But this seasons finale was a bit of a damp squib. We were left in the previous show with Eric and Russel roasting in the Sun out side Fangtasia.
Eric ignores Godric’s advice to forgive Russell. Bill tries for the nth time to convince Sookie that betraying her was the part of his plan to save her. Sookie is inconsolable this time, she makes it clear to Bill that he does not own her. She offers her blood to Eric. She even drags Russell inside. Eric settles his debt with Alicide. Alicide decides to bury Eric alive in cement. How Charming ! Bill also pushes Eric into the cement. Through a stroke of luck he escapes and meets up with Sookie. It is revealed that how bill let Sookie to be beat into a pulp before saving her. The revelation is too much for Sookie to bear. She joins Claudine and her posse of fairies. Daniels flees from Bon Temps.
Frankly True Blood Season 3 is slowly becoming indecipherable. The sheer types of supernatural beings like Were Panthers, Fairies and witches apart from the usual vampires and shifters is quite overwhelming for the show. May be its time the creative team behind True Blood realized that they may have bitten off more than they could chew.
