LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — Controversy is nothing new for Hollywood films these days. The more the controversy, the more the box office collection the film receives. Director Robert Rodriguez seems to be thinking along this line for his upcoming flick “Machete“. The film is said to have some highly offensive elements which might trigger a race war easily.

Earlier Rodriguez had claimed that he has removed all those offensive scenes from the final version. But recently it has been reported that the every part remains the same as it was in the original script and that too word by word. The trailer of the film which deals with the Arizona immigration situation, shows Jessica Alba’s provocative rallying cry “the border crossed us” scene which was marked inappropriate earlier. Now, Rodriguez is claiming that the scenes are only meant for satire and humor. No serious issues are attached with it.

Beside some steamy scenes of Jessica Alba, this recent controversy regarding the racist issues have increased the anticipation of this film. But is Rodriguez intentionally telling lies to the media regarding censorship of the film? What do you think? Are the films willingly causing controversies to accelerate box office collection?
