LONDON - Duchess of York is said to be planning to make a television programme with Oprah Winfrey on how she was ‘abandoned’ by her mother when she was 13.

Fergie is in talks with Winfrey about making a six-part television series for the American chat show host’s channel, documenting how she was “abandoned” as a teenager by her mother and the “devastating” effect that this had on her life. The programme would be about the healing process,” the Telegraph quoted a friend of Fergie.

“She will interview various professionals who help people come to terms with the same sort of devastating problems that she endured when she was 13. She hopes that the programme would help others,” the friend added.

This may come as a boon to the bank balance of the former wife of the Duke of York as it was previously reported that her debts had reached almost 5 million pounds and she was considering bankruptcy. (ANI)
