Radioheads Gift For Their Fans

September 4, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Alternative rock icons, Radiohead have given the audio master tracks to their Czech Republic fans who had earlier filmed them at their live show. This is going to be a free downloadable concert. So Radiohead fans can rejoice, to freely download their favorite band’s live concert. For the ones who missed the gig, it’s going to be a treat and for the ones who were there, this DVD would carry a fascinating bout of nostalgia.

It’s an enormous endorsement, as the band, Radiohead haven’t released a concert DVD in the last 15 years. Their last concert DVD was released in the year 1995 and was called Live At The Astoria.

A total of fifty Czech fans came together to film a show by the band in Prague. The whole concert was shot on personal digital cameras on the 23rd of August 23, 2009.

This video project impressed the band completely and later on they handed over the audio masters of the show, so as to add a level of professionalism to the bootleg videos that were shot. Some parts of this DIY shot show have been uploaded on the popular Youtube and can be viewed by fans from around the world.

The videos aren’t for sale and are by the fans for the fans.
