August 31, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel, has been added to the list of guitarists who will lay down guest solos on the debut album from AC / DZ.

AC / DZ are the Bay Area based AC / DC tribute band. This band was formed by Thrash singer Steve "Zetro" Souza who previously had sang for a plethora of bands like Tenet, Exodus and Legacy.

The band is also co - formed with the executive producer Walter Morgan (who is the organizer of the Thrash Of The Titans 2001 concert). There are several well known faces from the metal community who would be guesting on the album.

The other people who are also contributing to the album include the likes of Steve Smyth (Forbidden, ex-Nevermore, Testament, Vicious Rumors), Rob Cavestany (Death Angel), Craig Locicero (Forbidden, Demonica), Tim Calvert (Forbidden, Nevermore), Eric Peterson (Testament) and Glen Alvelais (LD/50, Tenet, Forbidden, Testament).

The band AC / DZ’s present lineup includes Jon Allen who had earlier been in Sadus, Testament on drums, Elena Luciano Repetto (of Bomb Scary, Imagika fame) on bass, Drew Gage from Invection on rhythm guitars and, Dave Chapman from the band RIFF / RAFF on lead guitars.

With such an impressive line - up and with such a brilliant list of guest musicians, one can only expect the album to be awesome to say the least.
