Mary Jane Missing From Spider-Man 4

August 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The fourth Spider-Man movie is likely to be released in 2012 and there is a lot of curiosity among the audience. And the sources are quoted to have said that the female lead Mary Jane, played by Kirsten Dunst, won’t be a part of the fourth segment.
The producers have started hunting for a new female lead to play the love interest of Peter Parker. There is a speculation that someone from the past of Peter may come up as his new romantic interest like Gwen Stacy.
Shooting for this fourth Spider-Man movie is likely to start from December 2010. Andrew Garfield has already been signed to play Peter Parker replacing Tobey Maguire. Producers are trying to finalize the cast as soon as possible, so that they can start working on the film on the scheduled time.
The battle to play the romantic interest of Spider-Man has already started as five actresses are already contending to get the role. Emma Roberts, niece of Julia Roberts, is one of the contending ladies to act opposite Andrew Garfield. Other names in the line are English actress Imogen Poot, Lilly Collins, Ophelia Lovibond and Teresa Palmer.
Whoever gets the role, the Spider-Man lovers will be surely missing their lovely Mary Jane
