August 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): In news that would shake up the heavy metal world and make the Slipknot fans weep happy tears, the band have gone ahead and announced the release of its new live DVD. The DVD is entitled (sic)nesses and cleverly uses the song title from the band. The band might be out of the scene and might have a hiatus of 2 years, but they aren’t forgetting about their fans. The band’s hiatus was announced by drummer Joey Jordison.

The (sic)nesses DVD will include the band’s complete performance from last year’s Download Festival that took place in the UK. The whole DVD is shot with a total of 30 cameras and features hits from the band’s entire musical career.

It’s being touted as one of the last performances of bassist Paul Grey’s career. He succumbed to an overdose just a few months back. In addition to the footage concert, there will also be a 45 minutes of behind the scenes action. The behind the scene action is edited by Slipknot member, Clown, which means it will most probably be 45 minutes of art-school type edition and nonsensical footage of people’s shoes.

The DVD includes big hits like Wait and Bleed, Duality, Before I forget amongst others.
