Philip Treacy On ‘Project Runway’

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- Fashion buffs had a lot to look forward to on the latest episode of Project Runway as the contestants were given a new challenge of designing dresses influenced by the hat designs of the world famous hat designer Philip Treacy. Philip Treacy himself appeared on the show and many of the contestants along with the audience were awestruck at the sheer genius of the designs showcased by the artist on the show.

At the beginning of the episode, Heidi Klum tells the designers about the latest challenge and the models come out in Philip Treacy hats. The contestants are seen amazed by the creations and then the man behind it all graces the stage of Project Runway. The challenge for the designers was to design something that one could wear with the Philip Tracy hats that were on display on the model. Andy, who won last week’s challenge gets to chose his hat first and then the rest of the contestants follow him. The designers are then asked to chose their models for the challenge and some of them stick to their usual choices while some consider changes with respect to the challenge.

During the challenge some of the designers are seen struggling to create ideal designs and Tim Gunn is seen doing what he does best on the show- shake things up. At the end, Michael C is adjudged the winner of the Philip Treacy hat challenge and Michael D and Valerie are on the safe grounds. Kristin lags behind the other contestants and is seen eliminated in the episode.
