LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes)- Designers competing in the latest season of ‘Project Runway’ had a lot to be inspired from in episode 4 as ace hat designer Philip Treacy showcased some of his collection as a part of the challenge. Considered one of the foremost hat designers of the 20th Century, Philip Treacy’s creations have made its way to Hollywood for years. He designed the hats for the Harry Potter movies and in more recent appearance, Sarah Jessica Parker was seen sporting his creation during the premiere of ‘Sex and The City’.

In ‘Project Runway’ the models were seen wearing the Philip Treacy hats and the challenge for the week was for the contestants to create a dress that would complement the work of the artist. The designers struggled through the challenge and some of the contestants like Kristin were seen clueless about the ideas. During the challenge, however, the Project Runway contestants had a chance to understand the genius of the Philip Treacy even more closely. Michael C was seen to be struggling as well but he took a big risk in the end on the advice of Tim Gunn.

At the end of the allotted time, the designers were asked to showcase their designs to the judges. Philip Treacy formed the panel of judges that included show creator and host Heidi Klum. Tim Gunn’s advice to Michael C paid off as he was adjudged the winner of the round. The contestant who was sent back home was Kristin who completely failed to inculcate the artistic brilliance of Philip Treacy into her design.
