STURGIS (GaeaTimes.com)- Preparations for the 70th annual motorcycle rally in the town of Sturgis is underway and this year the South Dakota town is ready to welcome a star guest. According to the latest reports from the organizers of the Sturgis motorcycle rally, Jay Leno will be present with his camera and crew from the “Tonight Show” to cover his favorite motorcycling event. It is not unknown to us that Jay Leno is a hard core bike and automobile enthusiast, thus making sure to be present at the event and also covering it on television.

The motorcycle rally at Sturgis this year will be staged on the 8th and 9th of August. It has been reported that the “Tonight Show” cameras will cover Pee-wee Herman’s visit to The Buffalo Chip, a legendary event organized before the start of the motorcycle races every year. It is being estimated that the number of people attending the 70th annual motorcycle rally will cross the 650,000 mark, thousands of bikers attending the opening ceremony at Sturgis.

Apart from the presence of Pee-wee Herman and a Tequila dance on the 8th and 9th next month, the Sturgis motorcycle rally does not have much to offer for Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show” cameras feel the organizers. However with Pee-wee Herman and Jay Leno sharing the same stage at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, bikers and spectators hope to get to hear about lovely experiences from the stars. It is said that Jay Leno’s 17,000 square feet garage in his home houses a host of machines, in fact his car and bike collection is any enthusiast’s envy. The Sturgis rally is not “Tonight Show’s” first brush with motorsports. In the past too there have episodes featuring motorcycles.
