Final Destination Reached?

LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com)- The fourth installment of Final Destination has received mixed review from the audiences. The film was released in 3D as well as 2D last year. It was recently released on Blu-Ray and DVD. It follows on the same theme of fate and death like the previous installments. In this film however, 3D plays a significant role as the audience is often shocked by the jutting edges of the flying debris and the brutality of the scenes.
In this installment things start with a daydream that a guy has about a race course accident. He is seen waking up inside the race course and realizing that it was a dream. He then realizes that it was a premonition and escorts his friends and girlfriend outside. They, however, fail to evade the inevitable for too long as death finds its way through the most unlikely places that includes a car wash and beauty parlor. The deaths are as sudden as the ones in the previous installments but in 3D they look much more horrific and real. At the end of the fourth installment of Final Destination, death is seen getting the last laugh and killing all the people who cheated it in the beginning.
Critics have spoken heavily on the film, considering especially the previous three installments being quite successful. They have said that though the 3D effect manages to shock and awe, the flat characters and the predictability of the story fails to appeal like the previous Final Destination movies. The trailer of the film has promoted the film saying that death saved the best for 3D but critics may not completely agree to that.
