Sulagna Panigrahi To Enter Star Plus Bidaai

July 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Star Plus’ popular show ‘Bidaai’ has recently seen entry of many new characters after the leap including Apoorva Agnihotri. Now, there is a report that Sulagna Panigrahi, who was recently seen on Zee TV’s ‘Do Saheliyan’, is going to enter the show as Sakshi.
The death of two lead characters Sadhana and Ranvir, brought a lot of changes in the track. Now, entry of Sulagna will be another addition to it. She will play an important role, which is a very unusual character. Even though several popular actresses were offered to play the role, Sulagna became the lucky one to bag it.
Speaking on her entry in ‘Bidaai’, Sulagna says, “I loved the shows of Rajan Shahi sir and have great respect for him. I always wished to get an opportunity to work with him. There could be no other better platform than ‘Bidaai’, which is one of the most successful shows in Star Plus”.
The actress added, “I am playing Sakshi, an orphan girl. The unusual character has a lot of depth and layers in it. I will enter the show sharing screen space with one of the leading characters. My entry will be a heroic one and it will be worth watching”.
Well, we hope her heroic entry gives some much needed boost to this once leading show of the channel!
