Sakshi Introduced In “Bidaai”

MUMBAI, INDIA (GaeaTimes.com)- Sulagna Panigrahi is the new face of television serial “Bidaai”. The serial which has been an eyeball catcher for quite a long time has introduced several new characters in the recent past after the producers decided to change the storyline of the popular sitcom. That was where Sulagna Panigrahi came in to play the role of Sakshi in the upcoming episodes of “Bidaai”.

Sakshi will emerge as one of the most important characters in the course of the storyline say producers. According to reports from the sets of “Bidaai”, many other actresses had been approached for this crucial role, but since the other actresses’ schedules did not work out, it was Sulagna Panigrahi who was finally roped in for the role of Sakshi. Hers is the second new face in the serial after that of actor Apoorva Agnihotri.

Speaking to the media after it was her name that was chosen for the role of Sakshi, Sulagna Panigrahi says that she is very happy and excited at the prospect of working with producer Rajan Shahi because she has always been a fan of the other works that were produced out of his house in the past. The actress says that she feels honored to be working with her favorite in such a popular serial like “Bidaai”. Speaking on her role, Sulagna Panigrahi explains that Sakshi is an orphan but has a strong will that helps her overcome all difficulties that come in her way, stressing on the fact that the character of Sakshi will be loved by the audience. Apparently Sakshi interacts with only one major character in the serial.
