Leonardo Dicaprio Walks Out Of Mel Gibsons Film

July 30, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio has backed out from the untitled film to be produced by actor and filmmaker Mel Gibson, who is facing charges of domestic abuse to his live-in-girlfriend Russian pianist Oksana Grigorieva.
DiCaprio walked out of the film to avoid any kind of negative publicity by working with Gibson in his untitled historical epic. It would have been a first time union of these stars had DiCaprio chosen to act in the film. The image of Gibson has been totally destroyed by the domestic abuse scandal.
According to a source close to the Inception star, “Leo has got the right to choose with whom he wants to work and Mel Gibson does not come under them”.
Gibson was supposed to direct the movie. He is now fighting for custody of his nine month old daughter Lucia with Grigorieva. His girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, who is mother of his illegitimate daughter, accused that the Braveheart star hit and abused her. He is under investigation now.
