LOS ANGELES (GaeaTimes.com) — The trailer of Thor, has taken the Comic Con by storm. The fans believe that the movie will live up to its gigantic expectations. Speculations for Thor, the movie based on the Nordic thunder-god, started with the summer blockbuster IRON MAN 2. The easter egg shown in the ending sequence of the movie confirmed its existence. It showed the first look at Mjolnir, Thor’s magical hammer.
Interestingly the trailer was pulled up from Google and you tube owing to copyright issues. The first look at the The Destroyer was revealed in the trailer. Thor is set to battle with The Destroyer in the new movie. In the trailer the unmanned Destroyer armor is seen fighting with Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents
Thor will trace the origin story of Thor loosing Mjolnir.
Anthony Hopkins in an interview said about his character Odin,
I don’t just play a father, I play the god-father. [Odin's] a stern man. He’s a man with purpose. I play the god who banishes his son from the kingdom of Asgard because he screwed up. He’s a hot-headed, temperamental young man probably a chip off of the old block but I decide he’s not really ready to rule the future kingdom, so I banish him.
Even though the full trailer is not available at the moment. Full audio of the trailer may be found here.
Incidentally, Marvel has also released the trailer to their other super-hero movie “Avengers” in Comic Con.
