July 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): This is your one stop shop for the latest happenings in the town. The buzz; the release plans; the launches; the works. Yes, this is serious business and we will bring you the most reliable information week after week. Have a dekko.

— Raavan has folded up with business of less than that of Delhi 6. While the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra directed film – despite its flop tag – still had managed to cross the 30 crore mark in India, this Mani Ratnam directed fare has struggled to reach that mark.

— Release date of Karan Johar’s We Are Family (remake of Stepmom) has been confirmed as September 10. The film will take Salman Khan’s Dabanng and Sanjay Dutt’s Knock Out heads on.

— Raajneeti has crossed the 90 crore mark just from India, hence making it third in the list of all time biggest grossers in the history of Indian cinema after 3 Idiots (which crossed 200 crores) and Ghajini (100 crores plus).

— Emraan Hashmi has denied reports that he would be participating in the third season of Fear Factor which is being hosted by Priyanka Chopra.

— Entire shooting of Akshay Kumar’s Patiala House is now complete and the film is making brisk progress towards its November release. However, Action Replay being announced in the same month means that one of them would certainly move ahead.

— Bobby Deol would have a few releases to his name. While his much delayed Ek – The Power of One and Vaada Raha I Promise had arrived in the interim, his new horror flick Help (with Mugdha Godse as his co-star) is all set to release in the month of August this year.
