SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- Rosie Huntington Whitely has been announced the replacement for Megan Fox in the next ‘Transformers’ installment. The 23 year old Victoria’a Secret model is presently dating Jason Statham. There is great speculation about the bombshell model’s acting prowess but considering Megan Fox, she has shoes to fill in that need more glamor than acting. The model will join the cast in shooting in two weeks. She has reportedly been selected over two more candidates- Sarah Wright and Brooklyn Decker. The latter graced the cover of Sports Illustrated this year.

Michael Bay has reportedly went through a lot of Victoria’s Secret ads and shows and hand-picked Jason Statham’s girlfriend Rosie Huntington Whitely for the role of Shia Beoulf’s love interest in ‘Transformers 3′. Michael Fox was looking for a replacement of Megan Fox since the time she walked out of the project o reportedly got kicked out by him. Megan Fox came under heavy criticism from the director for losing excessive weight. She was also unpopular among the other crew members for her obsessive behavior. In a media statement she called Michael Bay ‘Hitler’ and unsocial off the set.

Rosie Huntington Whitely will not be the first major model to go into films. Some of the modeling stars who made it big in Hollywood include Elle McPherson and Cindy Crawford. Rosie Huntington Whitely also has prior experience of working with Michael Bay when he directed an ad for Victoria’s Secret called ‘A Thousand Fantasies’. Her PR agency has confirmed that the they were waiting a long time for the formal announcement of the contract.
