Mata Ki Chowki stays put for now

May 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire):Sahara One is on the path to redemption. It’s sporting a new identify and ready to embrace new shows. Bitto launched this week, Shorr.. will go on air in due course of time. It was widely speculated that Shorr will replace Swastik Pictures’ Mata Ki Chowki. The latter is likely to end eventually but it’s staying put for now. Mata Ki Chowki has got an extension for three months.
Chetan Hansraj, who just stepped into the show as Bali says, “There was a threat of the show going off air but I’ve learnt that the show has been a 3-month extension. We’ve been shooting regularly for the show.”
Producer Siddhart Tewary had earlier told us that his show wasn’t going off air, and they were coming up with a high point soon. Tewary remained unavailable for comment today.
Apparently, the high point appears to be the entry of Bali, who disrupts Sakshi (Muskaan James) and Aman’s wedding by claiming that he’s already engaged to the girl.
Anyway, viewers may or may not approve of the high point, but it looks like Mata Ki Chowki can breathe easy for few months.
