JLo believes it could never have worked with Affleck

May 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Pop diva Jennifer Lopez has spoken up about her relationship with Ben Affleck stating that their relationship was doomed right from the beginning, because of the way they had to endure the paparazzi.
Lopez started going out with Affleck in 2002 and they featured in a number of box office turkeys, like Affleck’s Jersey Girl where she did a cameo, Gigli and Ishtar.
Their relationship attracted even more attention when Affleck gifted Lopez a huge pink diamond.
Lopez states that she loves Ben and that he’s a great guy but they thought it was too much for them to constantly be under public glare for two whole years. They would be on the cover of every magazine every week and their relationship was in the limelight all the time.
She credits her husband, Latin singer Marc Anthony for teaching her how to handle fame and ensure a balance of it with her personal life. She expresses that when one is famous, it gets hard to realize if one has control over it or not. Anthony taught her to gain control over it. Anthony and Lopez got married in 2004.
