Upcoming Non-Fiction shows in 2010

Year 2009 offered the TV audience variety of shows from reality shows to fictions that provided enough entertainment to audience. 2010 has started and there are horde of reality shows that promise to become the dinner table gossip to our viewers.

Let’s check what’s on the menu for reality show lovers…

Like Rakhi, Rahul has also gone ahead to find a perfect life partner with the help of national television with NDTV Imagine’s ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega’ but we hope as Elesh was left heart broken when Rakhi refused to marry him Rahul doesn’t ditch his bride-to-be.

Manish Goel will host the show ‘Mahayatra’ where twelve sons will be put through hurdles to test their love for parents and will be declared modern age ‘Shravan’ if they successfully take their parents to a pilgrimage though the rocky journey.

Like old times, India will choose its favourite singing star for the fifth time as Sony brings back ‘Indian Idol 5’ and also shaking their leg will be celebrity contestants on ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 4’ to win the celebrity dance competition. After a seasonal break will return India’s first and favourite dance talent hunt show ‘Boogie Woogie’ that will celebrate its 12th anniversary this year with witty and humorous hosts Javed, Naved and Ravi Behl.

Reality game show with handsome host Salman Khan is back! Yes, it is ‘Dus Ka Dum 3’ that will be making people crorepatis. ‘Big Switch’ turns off on Bindaas channel and ‘Ganga Jamuna’ replaces it where a gaon ki gori will be paired with a city dude to switch there lifestyles and try to win the game show. Viewers will also get to roll on floor and laugh out loud as a big match between comedians and their celebrity partners starts on ‘Indian Premier Laughter show’.

‘Broken Hearts’ will make an effort to reunite people, family or friends who want to get back together. Karan Johar will once again make his superstar friends sit on a couch not just to chat but will make them meet their biggest fan on show ‘Lift Kara De’.

All those people who could not pass the audition to participate in a reality show here is your chance to play from home as Abhishek Bachchan debuts as a host on TV with the reality game show ‘National Bingo Night’ which will be similar to the in-door game ‘Tambola’.

A gang of beautiful women will be seen doing many more dangerous and yuckier stunts as compared to level 2 in Khatron Ke Khiladi 3. Bigg Boss will be on prowl again as new celebrity contestants will be jailed in Bigg Boss’s house as viewers will enjoy all the fights and politics on ‘Bigg Boss 4’. Kids can also sing and dance to win competitions as ‘LI’L Champs’ returns and Colors brings ‘Chak Dhoom Dhoom’ for them to show their dance skills. ‘Sach Ka Samna’ will once again question public’s integrity on its second season.
