James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ tops box office for second week running

WASHINGTON - James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ has topped the box office for the second week running after raking in 75 million dollars.
According to studio estimates, Sherlock Holmes came second with 65.4 million dollars.
‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel’ landed the third spot with 50.2 million dollars while ‘It’s Complicated’ 22.1 million dollars.
‘Up in the Air’ rounded off the top five with 11.8 million dollars, reports E! Online.
The weekend’s top-grossing films are:
1. Avatar, $75 million
2. Sherlock Holmes, $65.4 million
