“Michael deserves one. What we did was create a film for fans to understand what Michael dreamed for them. A wonderful story about a brilliant man.” THIS IS IT tour director KENNY ORTEGA is convinced MICHAEL JACKSON should be handed a posthumous Oscar for the documentary detailing his doomed comeback concerts.

“(It) was his final curtain call. Michael wanted to retire from performance and focus on film-making and other things. He didn’t intend to be out there in the world performing for much longer, so this opportunity came along where he thought that he was young enough.. he wanted to share it with his children, to do it for the fans.” MICHAEL JACKSON’s choreographer KENNY ORTEGA insists the star intended to slip out of the limelight following his doomed comeback concerts.

“We just did a big scene from the movie, just as a little sizzle, a little test - a place for us to stretch together, he was dancing in it and he’s going to be great.” Director KENNY ORTEGA is pleased with CHACE CRAWFORD’s first scenes in the FOOTLOOSE remake.

“This has been an incredible journey… This really takes the cake. I’m gonna kick my shoes off and walk in the sand.” Moviemaker KENNY ORTEGA confirms he’s no longer attached to direct movie musical FOOTLOOSE after planning MICHAEL JACKSON’s THIS IS IT comeback shows and subsequent movie.
