Kevin Gillespie in top Chef Hunt

Sept 11 (IBNS) For the foodies it was a dandy of a contest, but for the chefs it was a battle to die for. And Kevin Gillespie found himself in the midst of the elite by sheer bacon power.

He proved that he is not only a serious competitor for Beard and Mustache Competition, but had the jim-jam and fancy-shamcy to hold his own among the leite chefs in the world. The result was extraordinary.

The bacon and escardot dish not only got him an immunity, but also bought off a seat with some of the best chegs of the world, including the legendary Joel Robuchon, who is a guest judge of the meet.

However, the chef’s meet did suffer from a lack of girl-power as the ones like Ashley, Jesse and Robin made a mes of their escargot dishes and were left licking their wounds resulting in a cook-off. The cook-off demanded everyone to create an amuse bouche to save them from elimination..

Now the chefs were ready to draw their knives for some best snippets. They labeled their knives with classic French sauces and Proteins to put up a good show, but for Hector and Ash’s ill-timed plating and saucing. Woof! What a fare!
