Canada hunts ex-TV contestant over trash bin body
BUENA PARK, Calif. — Police across Canada are on the lookout for a former reality TV contestant sought for questioning in the death of his ex-wife, whose nude body was found stuffed in a suitcase in an Orange County trash bin.
Authorities say 32-year-old Ryan Alexander Jenkins apparently slipped back into his native Canada by walking across a remote borderland in Washington state after driving and boating more than 1,000 miles up the coast.
The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office in northwestern Washington state says Jenkins’ car and an empty boat trailer were found at a marina in Blaine.
Jenkins was on the TV show “Megan Wants a Millionaire” on VH1. He is a “person of interest” in the death of 28-year-old Jasmine Fiore in Buena Park.
