Samir Aftabs shadow over Bollywood- 3 movies to release this year!

Samir Aftab best known for his movie Krantiveer (under production) has a bunch of releases lined up for this year. From working with Raj Kanwar as Assistant Director to lead actor in two movies “Chand Sa Roshan Chehra” and “Sunzara”; he has come a long way and constantly evolving.

The year for Samir starts off with a cameo in SHADOW, which is scheduled to release this Friday. The cameo also includes a dance number with Saif Ali Khan’s ex flame Rosa Castellano.

In his previous avatar in tinsel town as Assistant Director to Raj Kanwar, he proved his mettle with three blockbusters; Badal, Dhhai Akshar Prem Ke and Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega. Samir believes that the work behind the camera as Assistant Director had its share in perfecting his understanding of his work as an actor.

Though his first movie “Chand Sa Roshan Chehra” didn’t do well at the box office, Samir wasn’t disappointed and took up the challenge of proving his critics wrong. “Acting and movies have always been my first love”, says a walking talking movie encyclopedia Samir. Enter 2009, and he is back with not one, but three movies lined up for his fans.

He is currently shooting for his lead role in Bas Ek Tamanna, which is slated to release next year. Next to come up is 3 nights 4 days this September. Wow, that’s a lot of work!
